Getty Renaissance Circle Handle Bag
Product Description
Beautifully designed banners first flew above the streets of Los Angeles in 1997 to herald the opening of the Getty Center. More recently they have promoted the J. Paul Getty Museum's rotating exhibitions. By recycling these banners into resourceful bags, the artistry is preserved while helping to protect the environment. Unique designs in assorted shapes and sizes are cut from each banner. Because the fabric has been exposed to outdoor elements, slight inconsistencies are to be expected. Made exclusively for the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles, quantities are limited.
Bags by Carolyn Polonsky.
